Horses are my life and are very dear to me, so it is only natural that I want to do what I can to help. Many of the horses in my herd that are used for lessons, trail rides and as my personal horses, were 'free' horses, rescued from abusive homes, or auction rescues. Some of my best horses have come from the worst situations, I feel as though they are giving back to me, for having rehabilitated them.

Check back here often, as you will see new faces here all the time. I will post pics & updates of the most recent rescues. When they are rehabilitated (lots of feed, love and some training) you will see them up for adoption on the for sale page, (unless I'm keeping them! :)

Although this is a side-project for now, I hope one day I can expand ELS Equine Rescue and have it be my main focus, and already look forward to taking in more off-track horses (stb & tb) and retraining them to be riding horses, so many of them which don't get the chance they deserve, in spring 2010.
